Model Phase 3 (Phase Sequence Analyzer) is a device that verifies the presence of all three phases and indicates the phase sequence. The red lead corresponds to A-phase, white to B-phase, and the black to C-phase. The Phase 3 can also be used to determine the phase sequence of motors. Simply, hook up the three leads to the motor leads and rotate the motor. The phase direction light will illuminate indicating the phase sequence. Once the desired direction is found, just match up the leads with the power leads, red-red, white-white, and black-black.
