The Triplett 3060 Model 5 Subscriber Loop Test Set combines the features of a transmission test set, a 17-frequency multi tone generator, and a multi range volt-ohmmeter in a rugged portable unit. The Model 5 was engineered with use and abuse in mind, with superior resistance to shock and extreme temperatures, and is so easy to use that even first time users can make tests quickly and accurately. It comes with a molded, high impact thermoplastic case and cover with non-slip 'finger-tread' surface and an adjustable nylon shoulder strap which enables hands-free use. The case lid enables storage of both sets of test leads and instruction manual. Closing the case lid will automatically shut the unit off to save battery life.
